Wow. I remember hearing about these guys. Now they show up in PopSci. Basically they use argon gas to make super lightweight jackets and outdoor gear. Way cool stuff.

I know a lot of people who were worried when I went skydiving.  But they don't think twice about driving a car.  The odds of dying in a car accident are much high that dying falling out of an airplane.  Now there is a site where you can find and collect odds about you. The website is bookofodds.com.  I found out (by answering a few questions) that I had a 1 in 1 chance of reporting that I washed my hands after using a public restroom. So correct.  I also found out that I have a 1 in 1.9 chance of a fatal accident. Maybe not as accurate.  Anyway, kind of fun, and a way to get your mom to agree to your dangerous hobbies.
