I friend got me an invite to Google Wave. Just signed up and testing it out. So far, I think it is a great idea. I'll keep posting insights and what I think of it over the next couple of days.

I remember when facebook hit BYU. It was crazy. People would spend all night on it adding your friends. Once we played hide and seek in the library. After a few games, everyone kind of disappeared. We found each other at the library computers, adding friends.
People would post everything on facebook. Dorm rooms, phone numbers, every single book they ever loved. It was intoxicating.
As facebook grew and opened to other markets the specialness went down. It went from just your awesome BYU friends and some high school buddies to everyone including your next door neighbor.
But as the above story shows, (The Facebook Death Star Moves Across The Web Universe) it hasn't slowed facebook down. I was thinking the other day, would I pay to use facebook? The sad answer is that I actually might.

Now that I am designing stuff more often, I find the need to use good typefaces. The difference between a bad design and a good design is sometimes just how the words look. So I was happy to find this.

I love pizza. So when a few friends from the BYU Folkdance team wanted to go to Legends Grill for pizza, I was all in. Any you know what... it was really good. Like great. Who would have thought, great pizza from a grill.
Don't worry, they are just really excited to eat the pizza.
